朋友的儿子要来伦敦上高中，打算找一家homestay，不知哪位朋友有这方面的信息，希望得到朋友们的帮助！先谢谢！

You can find a homestay at the white people's house, which normally costs about $800 to $900 a month. They offer three meals a day and can practice English as well. You can also find a homestay at the Chinese house which costs much cheaper about $400 to $500 a month. If you are really interested, you can contact me at jhuang366@yahoo.com.

I don't know what i could say about this-send the teen kids alone themself here just for high school education?! Are their parents really think over night about this?! I work at hight school and i have two hight school kids myself, i know what is teen life look like and .... Please think over and over what is you and your parents really want.

laoli，你好！我猜你的孩子一定是在加拿大长大的，你才有上述想法，如果你的孩子是在国内长大，每天在枯燥的题海里苦学十几个小时，几年后还不一定能有一个好的未来，当父母的该如何选择呢？也只能赌一把了，无奈啊！

Some of the local Canadian homestay is not as good as expected. Lack of food and heat happens. Moreover, it is not reliable to find a Chinese family homestay in just 400-500. it is just a price for rent a room.

there is a student posted a nice homestay which is held by native English speaker. I have seen in the Londonchinese. You need to contact him first to see will they be available at the time when the student arrives.
