Thames Valley district schools closed today Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 – Due to continued inclement weather, the Thames Valley District School Board has closed all schools today in London, Middlesex County including Strathroy-Caradoc, Oxford County including Woodstock, and Elgin County including Aylmer and St. Thomas. All Board offices, including Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education sites, are also closed. Also, all after-hours programming through Community Use of Facilities at TVDSB schools and facilities have been cancelled for today. In addition, all scheduled sports have been postponed and will be rescheduled where possible. Custodial and maintenance workers are asked to contact their supervisors before leaving for work. “The safety of students and staff is our first priority,” says Bill Tucker, Director of Education. The inaugural meeting of the Board scheduled for tonight has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. WESTERN CLOSED TODAY
Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Due to the heavy accumulation of snow over-night, and continuing accumulation expected today, The University of Western Ontario and the affiliated university colleges (Brescia, Huron and King's) will close today, Tuesday, December 7. All classes and exams are cancelled, and all faculty, staff and students are encouraged to stay home. Operational plans have been put in place to ensure students in residence are cared for.(Read more)

大家预测明天是否继续关门？本人原以为今天就可以开门了，好像条件也允许，估计是郊区的学生有困难。
